In her personal life
Carly is a twenty-something, Chicago newlywed. She enjoys overpriced cheese, impossible vintage apartments, Woody Allen and vodka. In that order.
In her professional life
Firstly, Carly is a writer and photographer. Her work has appeared in Word Riot and Annalemma Magazine, in addition to a slew of now defunct (or not nearly as noteworthy) publications.
Next, Carly is a brand-building and Social Media consultant. She has offered her two cents to such organizations as Farmfed, a nonprofit supporting sustainable agriculture, Western Veterinary Conference, an annual continuing education conference serving over 8,000 veterinary professionals, and The Las Vegas Kennel Club, a nonprofit supporting the ethical treatment of pit-bulls through provocative advertising.
Carly currently works full time at a tenant representation firm downtown Chicago.
She graduated Valedictorian from Columbia College Chicago in December 2008. Her commencement speech is viewable below.
(You should ignore how hideous she looks under fluorescent lights, sans sleep.)
